Yoga is an ancient and expansive healing system, beyond just the physical practice called asana we know in the West. I love asana and can speak first hand of its benefits having only found Yoga through my own chronic pain from scoliosis. But Yoga’s utmost aim is to bring us closer to our true selves and thus to joy and love. A practice which may include physical healing but mental, emotional, spiritual healing too. My approach to Yoga strives for this embodiment and offers seenness in all your challenges and all of your grace, and a customized approach to healing your whole Self. Tools in a one-on-one session together may include asana, energy healing, relaxation, sound and more. Leaving you with self-generated light to guide your path through the world.
Lived Experience with Pain & Disease
Like many before me, I found Yoga out of my own deep personal need to heal. Chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, and anxiety have colored most of my life. But after many years as a seeker, I discovered in Yoga a self reliant healing system, a way to accept myself as I already am, and a realistic companion to the many up’s and down’s of life. Now I pull from my lived experience to put healing back into your own hands. Together we’ll find custom practices for healing that you can turn to over and over again as you create a resilient and joyful life.
